I remember Hans when he lived in a caravan on his nursery site at Bell bar, he could sometimes be found cultivating and tending the grass traffic island where Bell Lane joined the Great North Road. this was when his children were really young and he worked on his own, He really proved that hard work pays off in the long run, Sadly missed even when I have not seen him for years.
